Arkin is ONE :)

One year ago, on April 2nd, at 11:08 AM, my son came into this world.
For 37 weeks this little guy grew in my belly and I couldn’t wait to meet him.
And now, one year later, he is the most amazing little boy a mom could ask for.
I just can’t believe his first birthday is actually here!
Happy first birthday to my little man!
I love you to the moon and back! ♥

Arkin's 1st Birthday Invitation

When it was time to celebrate our son's first birthday, we knew instantly that the party theme would be Mickey Mouse. Our son is enthralled with anything Mickey Mouse.

I get really excited in planning a party.  I treat events as special projects of mine. I' always like to be hands-on any preparation.

Here's the invite.

I made it using Powerpoint (I still do not have PS)

Template 1 - rejected by the husband!

Template 2 -FINAL

It's plain and simple but the husband likes it :)

I am really busy with my little online shop where I’m selling cute clothes for kids at affordable price.

There are still good people in this world

I am so thankful to the family (strangers) who helped us today.
I now believe that there are still good people in this world!
Sharing this unexpected story...
We were on our way to ATC when our car stopped and won't start due to battery issue. We were stucked at Alabang Filinvest Exit around 2PM.
I was really worried since the kids were getting too uncomfortable because of the heat.
After about 15mins, a black Navara pickup stopped and the man with his wife walked to us. The wife insisted that we transfer inside their vehicle since the kids were getting sweaty. She was so genuinely KIND! I just kept on THANKING HER!
While inside the car, she offered us food, water, tissue, etc.
She helped me open Arkin's feeding bottle and wiped Arkin's sweaty head.
Her teenage daughter entertained my kids.
We waited for 15mins and our car started again with the help of her husband's battery.
Her husband went inside their vehicle and told us that they will drop us at ATC nalang since it's not safe to go out.
They dropped us at ATC and her husband went out of his vehicle pa pala to talk to my husband and offered to accompany him sa battery store near ATC.

"There are still good people in this world." Thanks to you, family from Filinvest Subdivision, Binan, Laguna for helping us!

May God bless you always!
